  1. Bf 109G GUNNERY PRACTICE

  3. Despite the fact that it was
  4. overmatched by the time of the U.S.
  5. bombing offensive, the Bf 109 was still
  6. the most widely used Luftwaffe fighter
  7. aircraft of the war, with over 35,000
  8. produced.  Many of the Luftwaffe's top
  9. aces continued to rack up high kill
  10. totals in Bf 109s right up until the
  11. defeat of Germany.
  12.  
  13.                     YOUR MISSION
  14.  
  15. Practice your marksmanship against a
  16. formation of three B-17s.  The optimal
  17. approach when attacking bombers is head-
  18. on from just above their altitude.  Work 
  19. on perfecting your attack approach to
  20. maximize the effectiveness of the 
  21. Bf 109's machine guns and cannons.  Once 
  22. you've passed the bombers, break in a 
  23. different direction to avoid being hit
  24. by their gunfire.  Continue to "jink" 
  25. until you're out of range of their guns.

  27. Your Bf 109G cannot be damaged and has 
  28. unlimited ammunition.
